Career Experiences
My experiences in social media, marketing, and sales.
Social Media Manager Campus Ink
I was in charge of managing and creating content for the social media platforms for the LSU NIL store by Campus Ink. I managed social media accounts that aggregated positive LSU athletics news and built an audience over time. This included the regular creation of content, including graphics and sometimes videos. The LSU NIL Store social accounts served as a platform for new merchandise drops for LSU athletes. I utilized multiple platforms to impact sports on campus, drive fan engagement, and achieve organizational goals. During my time as the social media manager, I grew the following by 50% on both Instagram and Twitter. In addition, I had huge success in increasing the accounts reached and accounts engaged along with Tweet impressions.

FOX Sports Internship 2023
I had the amazing opportunity to be the Summer Production Intern for FOX Sports in Charlotte, NC. I assisted with the daily production of the NASCAR Race Hub and Race Day show on FOX Sports 1. I also participated in the production of Truck Media Day. During my internship, I was assigned to various off-site feature shoots that consisted of interviews and show segments with NASCAR drivers. I also shadowed and learned the daily duties of the on-air talent, graphics team, producers, and directors. Throughout my internship, I attended the FOX Sports Master Classes that provided insight into company benefits and professional development training. In addition, I created and presented a marketing project to FOX Sports executives.

Charlotte Motor Speedway Internship 2022
I had the amazing opportunity to be the Communications Intern for Charlotte Motor Speedway for four months. I covered NASCAR’s premier race, the Coca-Cola 600, and I promoted and worked on the Summer Shootout. I primarily wrote press releases and conducted interviews with drivers for the Legend and Bandolero cars. I was able to network and build long-lasting relationships with drivers, communications professionals, and the events team at CMS and learn the PR world of a sports business.

LSU Tiger TV 2022-2023
Tiger TV runs like a local news station; I turned in content every week and adhered to a set deadline. I filmed, edited, and wrote content for all LSU sports; football, basketball, gymnastics, baseball, and soccer. I filmed specialty stories, game packages, press conferences, and I produced sports segments. I had the amazing opportunity to cover the NCAA women’s basketball tournament and cover the LSU versus Ole Miss football game. I reported live at sporting events, and I reported in the studio. All of our sports content is promoted through YouTube, WBTR channel 19, and other social media outlets. I also collaborated and worked with other sports reporters.

This is a show I produced for Tiger TV. I gathered and wrote all the content for the Tiger TV Thursday sports show, "Tiger Sports Update." I had to fill two minutes of time and use Rundown to input all my content.
The Reveille
I worked as a sports reporter for The Reveille newspaper during my freshman year. I interviewed coaches and players to develop relationships and generate meaningful content. I covered and wrote game day stories and feature stories for readers. I developed story ideas, collaborated with the sports directors, and promoted sports content through social media outlets. I learned how to write with precision and use the inverted pyramid story structure. I made sure all my pieces were objective and factual.
